Ylisia had their very first show on March 25th, 2022. They were selected to compete against three other bands in the preliminary rounds of the Wacken Open Air Metal Battle, for the Dutch province Zuid-Holland. This round took place at Baroeg, Rotterdam. The winning band of all rounds of this competition gets to play at Wacken Open Air in Germany. Ylisia ended up in second place for this round, which is an amazing accomplishment considering the members of Ylisia were on stage together for the very first time!
